**HTC HD2 Thread**

Mine started with NCKB***

Dropped the NC and last few numbers and it worked. The shortened version was given during another phone call and I didn't just randomly try it :p

Ahh fair enough then!

When i do it it states it can't get any details on it:

What? o2 were selling them sim-free for that price last month!

The £277 was a misprice, they went up to £365, plus didn't you need a simplicity sim?

Even if you cancelled after a month, that's another £30, so £395 for the handset?

Just spoke to Vodafone again, i got the correct number, they checked it and it is showing as despatched yesterday and out for delivery today - will just leave it to fate now as to whether anyone is in to accept the delivery!

Not sure why its not working for me but whatever!

EDIT: Result, phone just came :D

Just tested Opera Mobile 10 Beta 2

Oh my I cant wait for the full blown release :D

It's pretty much faster than anything I've used mobile based and comes with "Opera Turbo" which reduces the bandwidth by 80% and becomes a much faster experience.

However, it doesnt auto rotate or pinch zoom right now but worth a wee try :)

Is that £395 online only or could I do that in-store by getting a simplicity sim?

A local store has 1 in stock...

Anyone having issues with texts ? Had mine on Vodafone for a couple of weeks now and every few days any texts I send just sit in the outbox and never get sent. Reset the phone and everything is ok but I cant work out for the life of me what it causing it to do it. Other than that the phone is a class product but the whole texting issue is starting to wind me up.

Can someone with an HD2 FROM T-MOBILE (not a reseller) please post pics of the hardware + the main screen (and any branding present in the software).

Appreciate it!

There's just the splash screen as you turn it on and off, plus the annoying tmobile sounds for messages etc. Rest looks pretty standard.

Was having that issue but sorted it out....

Go to the settings>options....

Change the priority to high and attempts to 5, ironed things out for me so far.

It would appear there is a problem with the messaging client and with the network but its a software issue right now.

As I said setting priority to high seems to have it sorted out :)

Yeah, just been doing some reading on it, I went the other route and disabled HTC messaging as that seems to be the route of the issues at the moment, back on windows standard txt and see how that goes :D

First impressions, i'm loving it!!

Sorted out my contacts and updated the ones with facebook access, integration is really seamless for that, using it is great, so fast compared to my iPhone experience, things open INSTANTLY whereas my iPhone will sit there for 10 seconds before opening messages.

Never had a winmo phone before but no complaints about a clunky UI so far from me, seems pretty good

One thing i did like was that by the time finishing the auto wizard on first start, i had wireless, net, email and facebook all done in one go - very little to setup after that

Great phone - well chuffed

Cool mate, I would do that too but things seem to be perfectly fine here now i made the priority change :D

Also of note, my Phone was unlocked out the box

Well I got mine, having a hell of a time setting up gmail, constantly asking for my password even though I'm 100% sure it's correct!
