**HTC HD2 Thread**

i had the same issue, i installed the correct hspl and newest radio and it sorted out my issues :)

Also noticed last night my sd card isn't a class 4 but a class 2 but android runs fine on it!

Whichever one I try and install it starts to install and then the screen just fades to black with feint white lines smeared up the screen. :(

Updated the radio but it still does it. :(

That fade + smear is the touchscreen initialising. The very first boot of android takes ages as it has to create the data store.

Ta. Although I've left it for hours and it still just stays with a black screen and no lights. Should it sit like that for this long?

Finally got it sorted. Did a full hard reset and installed a new rom and radio and it's working fine. Many thanks. Loving it. Bye bye winslow. :P

I'm just waiting for a super working non laggy version now!

I am on the mattc leo at the moment, its froyo with full sense over the top.

GPS works great, still can't get my bluetooth working but i'm not too fussed about that. It just lags from time to time, mainly when either:

- Downloading apps from the market.
- Web browsing.

It also takes a long time every once in a while to come out of sleep.

Apart from that its good, battery is superb!

Can you explain the intergration of WM and Android.

Is it like running for example a VMware OS on your PC. So you can still use the host OS. As you can see im alittle hesitent on using it. Im really waiting for a ROM to flash.

at the moment android just runs from within windows mobile. You start your phone up, let it boot into windows and then run a couple of exe's from your sd card and android boots. I assume windows still runs in the background but with all the wireless connections disabled. You can alter and customise android as you like, all settings/changes are saved.

If you power off the phone and turn it back on you head straight back to windows. If you start android again its just as you left it the last time you were in it :)

So its the best scenario really as you can use android and muck about with it without altering any of the windows stuff!

Eventually when a perfect stable version comes out i will just flash the device with the android rom, thus getting rid of windows mobile forever!

If you ever needed to sell the phone you could flash a hd2 rom back over it and get it back to its original state.
