**HTC HD2 Thread**

It looks really nice, but after using the HD for 6 months I will never get another WinMo phone, it was horrible to use.

About as fast as my (original) HD.

Looks nice however, although not sure it's that much of an upgrade from my HD.

Hopefully it will use hardware acceleration for media purposes unlike my HD1 which was a huge dissapointment for me.

I reckon I'll be having one at some point anyway.

Capacitive is better than Resistive?

No, I meant resistive is better than capacitive (although some bits of capacitive are better), which is where the problem lies.

Hardware acceleration would be nice, however new phone nice? Not too sure.

That video has made me want, no idea why as there isn't *that* much difference between the video playback but...

Hardware and design look fantastic on this thing. I just read that HTC said they could make this run Android if they wanted to but they won't, if it did I'd really want one

The more i look at this i think its my next phone, have been mulling over this the Hero and Sony satio but I think the speed of this thing is amazing and this is with a standard rom, tweaked roms should really fly. Size doesnt look to overwhelming and the screen is a really useful size, i find browsing on my Compact IV a bit tedious.

That explains why it was so difficult to relaise the difference.

That's a Touch HD2, not a HD2. I'm well confused, why are they banging on about Android market and the image has a pic of a phone with Windows
