Cyanogen has been tweeting about CM-5.0-beta2.... but only for Nexus One at the moment it seems...

Yep its out and about and i'm running it on the N1 atm, with JIT and an updated kernel. Its soooo fast.

Ya he said as long as his family and friends still have them and there is a demand for it he will continue. All be it not as fast as before due to the N1.

The Magic Cyan is very good at the mo isn't it?

It is but this is only the second version I have tried (late to the party!) and I want to see more improvements etc... Plus the multitouch in the browser isn't great.

Well if it makes you feel any better, its only got better, so your only missing out on the older builds that didn't have this or that in it.

I'm in no rush for an advancement on the current version of Cyanogen. It's fast and very stable.

Flashed to Cyan 4.2.13 the other night from a basic 1.6 rom. Liking it so far....there are several visual improvements and things seems a bit nippier all round. But that might be because my 1.6 install was getting OS rot.

Just flashing the ROM now but my phone is sat at Formatting CACHE:...

Do I just press reboot now? Such a long time since I last did it!

If the console has dropped down or if you simply press reboot now (since the option will be visible in the console) then flashing is complete.

Reboot will take ages on the Android logo splash screen. Maybe 10mins or so.

Well i gave in and just orderd one. I love my iPhone and will still be using it, but i want to have a play with the google OS and get to grips with flashing/moding and see how the OS grows.

So my new toy to rip apart and play with lol
