Both credit card and PayPal transactions will be accepted. For all credit card payments, a hold will be placed on the card at time of pre-order. For all PayPal transactions, the account will be charged in full at time of pre-order. Shipping begins April 5th.

I wouldn't of minded a deposit but not the full amount over a month before you will even get it.
 
I'm interested to see how HTC shares fare after today. I've been keeping an eye on them since the 70p mark (now 80p).

Did anyone take a punt when they plummeted?
 
With regards PayPal payments, I get the option with most PayPal transactions to delay payment until around a month after the initial purchase, pay after delivery I think it's called? People could just use that if it's offered? The retailer still gets their money straight away so nothing affects them, PayPal just don't take it from the buyer.

Thinking unless their is a massive shipping cost to add, or the site dies and ETA goes to something like August straight away, I'll be pre-ordering the Vive later. Too many people now saying it will be the definitive experience for them to be wrong. It also helps I just happened to clear a 10ftx10ft space in my office, purely by accident obviously :o

I'll always have my peasant spec Rift pre-order to fall back on if it all goes wrong :p

If that's offered I would take that, I take it for everything else lol.
I have just checked as I wasn't sure if there is a limit on the Pay After Delivery, turns out there is, it's £12,500. Above that they just ask for a few more security details. So I think the Vive should be fine lol.
 
Just remembered I cancelled my CC because the 0% apr period had ended, doh. Gonna have to paypal unless debit cards go through.
