I'm fully expecting it to be a lie on Reddit, who'd have thunk it lol.

Either way £50 odd for shipping is steep no matter how you look at it. And people were up in arms over Oculus's shipping charge lol.
 
Got my order in a couple minutes after it opened.

Now I just gotta convince my girlfriend to switch the Study and 2nd Bedroom around so I can have permanent large VR space! Would give me a 9x9 ft space. Current is more like 4x6 :(

Wasn't impressed with the proper shafting I got from the postage costs. Oh well.

Yeah same here, I've sent them a Support Ticket just to query if standard shipping was supposed to be available or not.
 
Well I now have a pre order for both, just have to work out which one to cancel.
I love the sound of room scale, just wondering I will actually spend any time using it. It all comes down to software and I'm guessing 90% of the VR titles I play will be from a seat. May be a different story 12 months from now. We may be waiting for PSVR games to be ported :S
 
Preorderd. Struggled on the phone. Seems to not like phones...setting request desktop site worked.

5 hrs in no idea when my order will be turning up. Gonna think long and hard for a couple of weeks and cancel one...maybe both.
 
UK order page still showing April, but some places are now showing May, so maybe they've pre-allocated stock to countries already. So fingers crossed we should be in the first(ish) batch :).
