Try before you buy. At £300 I would put up with the resolution problem but for me at the current price its not worth it due to the poor resolution. For me it felt like having a Star Trek holodeck experience at a low resolution of 640x480. Great experience but flawed.

I assume its way to early, has there been any talk about a Vive V2 or Rift V2?
 
i am sure you can get FE 1070 on 10th if you quick enough . FE 1080 on here sold out like a hot cake. ( custom cards for 1070 will have to wait like 1080 i believe 1-4 weeks after )

Yeah, hoping to avoid founders tax and get a custom, will see what i can find out this week.

No idea if my 7970 will even be able to get the vive going in the mean time
 
I still have yet to receive the email everyone else seems to be getting and i ordered in April. I'm sure it's the same date for me and i'm assuming it's because i payed through amazon payment.

I'll have give them a call in the morning to find out fingers crossed guys!

and you still got your email? Damn i need to find out what's going on then, I called OCUK just a moment ago and got told that the first batch will be sent out on the 13th and the 2nd the 17th?

I might give them another call ask what's happening as i should get mine the 13th considering it's been almost 2 months since my preorder.

had the same issue, you're correct it's the amazon payments thing. the emails don't go through

My work ordered one and they got an email and I didn't so phoned up and they said it was because of amazon payments
 
So whats the news on ordering separate base stations? I really want to get one for my bedroom, where I will be using a seated configuration... it would just be nice to not have to unplug the base stations from the front room every time I want to do so!

(This is just me being lazy I know haha)
