1. standing or seated, you dont actually NEED space to walk around as most games have some kind of teleporting or locomotion method within the game

Not for me, my oculus arrived faulty, after 8 weeks waiting for a replacement I gave up and asked for a refund, which still took them nearly 2 weeks from the time they said they had done it to when they actually did it - get a Vive from say OCUK and any problems out of the box and they have about a 1 week turnaround on a replacement

I've noticed no downsides to having the Vive over the Rift, in fact I find the Vive more comfortable and has a wider FOV, at the cost of a small amount less clarity when you look away from center, but on balance I find the Vive the better headset, I also find the tracking easier to setup and use
4. Nope. I too had a DK2 and got rid of it within about 2 weeks because it wasn't up to par, the Vive and Rift are miles ahead of where the DK2 was. It is fair to say that some people need to get their "VR legs", my propensity to feel queasy using it has definitely dropped over time using
