Unlucky man... You cleared it all before hand with the last fraud trigger right? I Guess it must have expired. :(

I did the same, but my payment looks like it was taken this morning. I'm with Halifax.

Yep, all the flags had been cleared. I even called the bank on Friday to warn them to expect another payment, except DRI used a different merchant name than the one they told us to expect in the email on Friday.
 
Update , got email today.. :)

I must be the last order in batch 1
 
I live in an apartment so I may leave a note to leave with a trusting neighbour. I would rather collect from a service point though.

I wonder what the chances are of DHL putting a redirect on to my office address?

Not true! My friend had his delivered to his neighbor as he missed it, he was in hospital when they attempted as his missus was having a baby!

I'm not the most sociable person but have seem some stuff about AltSpaceVR that makes me want to at least look at it once I get my Vive.

And talking of hand gestures I've seen some clips of people using the Leap Motion in AltspaceVR and that gives full hand tracking with fully independent finger tracking as well. It seems people are fixing them to the front of their HMDs and using them that way. Not sure how integrated it is, or even how useful but does look pretty cool.
 
had a major problem yesterday getting this to work after re-running a room set up. it kept on crashing and pc would restart. had the same message Video scheduler internal error

happened again and again. i did a fresh install and recovered windows back to an earlier date and issue still remained.

I have rolled back my drivers to a set out November 2015 and unplugged a xbox power charger and it now seems ok. I dont know if its a driver issue or whether my PSU is not powerful enough with the vive added.

does powering 2 displays take more power from a system

anyway got it working again.

loving the lab at the moment - the mountain demo with the dog just blew my mind - actually experience vertigo when i teleported to ledge and felt my legs go. even though i knew i was in my living room i struggled to look down.

also loving the archery game - feels like you have a bow in your hand.

audioshield is also brilliant
 
ci_newman You learned NOTHING from the payments **** up ?? PAYPAL only good way to pay for VR headsets.
 
Got my delivery email. I pre ordered at xx:18 so that must be most wave 1 orders shipped. Really hoping I got a good unit
A dead pixel would be too much to handle!

During my re-order, the CS-Rep said I had to use the same payment details as my original order otherwise it would be rejected.

Clearly that was not actually true, but the CS-rep told me that anyway.

Do I read this right? You ordered 18min after preorder opened?

I ordered 4 hrs later abs just got a charge on my card. I guess there are loads of orders close together and it gets sparser as the hours went on.

Must admit I would have thought you would have had it by now though.

But ive not been tracking it.


Yeah dead pixels are.keeping me awake at night.
 
Also how can you see the status of your order online. My email from order day has a order number password and web addreees. But it tells me nothing more than what was in the email. Also doesn't give a status.
