thanks for the help simon, i think i will go the the "CMOS reset" option, im sure all of the people on this forum can help with the overclocking later on in life.

thanks peeps

Sorry mate, but are you purposely being ignorant? I think about 4 people have asked you to post pics of your BIOS settings as it sounds like there could be something alarmingly obvious. Yet you just seem to keep ignoring this?

Take photos of every single BIOS screen. Unplug PSU, clear BIOS, fire the machine up and update to latest BIOS. From within the BIOS, and after updating the BIOS, clear all settings again.

With motherboard now at default settings, concentrate on getting the harddrives recognised in the BIOS and see what happens when you load Windows or when you load from a Windows 7 setup disc. If it fails loading the currently installed Windows, perhaps that installation is corrupt. If it fails loading off the setup disc, then it could be hardware.

If you have a multimeter, check the voltages (yellow = 12, red = 5v, orange = 3.3v). Try swapping the following one by one, to determine which might be faulty (assuming you have these spare): harddrive, graphic card, memory, CPU.

sparks.... give me a chance, i havent had a chance to upload the pics yet becouse i have been busy, i dont like it that you call me ignorant eather, darael, i WILL upload the pics as soon as possible, in my own time, i will also go for the CMOS reset after taking the pics, i dont like it that people are just commanding, i do like to take my time with these things or they could create more damage.

Well the guys are just trying to help mate. So take your sweet time if you want to delay a fix. ;)

Not trying to be rude!

ok, so here are a long list of pictures that can hopefully help the situation:
first off we have the case turned off, i have not touched or replaced any of internal parts, it is all standard as it came.

Next is the motherboard logo that comes up when started

After that it goes to the windows loading page but then bluescreens

Then after the bluescreen has happened it restarts and i manually go to the bios

apart from that, thats about it im afraid, hmmmm confused

All you have to do is revert to default settings in the BIOS.

We can then help you overclock it safely (and probably better from what you got out of the shop).

We know what motherboard it is and quite a lot of people know how to overclock easily on that board.

+1 to the above, reset your BIOS settings to default and work from there with guidance.

P.S. That modded BIOS screen is horrible.. :o

Lesson learned, don't buy from anyone else other than Overclockers. I'd remove the 2nd photo as it's a competitor.

Reset your cmos and see if it boots into Windows on the default settings.

That modded BIOS screen is horrible.. :o

It's like one of those random local cinema adverts!

well people, i have just been told that i have a 3 year warrenty that comes with these deals:
call out repairs
return back to base for hardware failure or system problems
finally - any part that breaks will be refitted with a new replacment.

i am going to wait until tomorrow for a call out person to come and solve these problems, i know a little about computers but still i dont want to take any risks, i have got a feeling that the company will take the machine back to base and "hopefully" send out another one that works.

However, thank you ever so much for your help people, i do know if there are any other problems or questions then i will talk to you.

thanks

no my freind i did not (to much of a chicken)

The repair people are going to do the same thing suggested here.

You will just be wasting your time waiting for them, whereas you can probably fix it easily if you follow our instructions.

i know what you mean, but i dont want to make any mistakes that could make the warrenty "void", i will say tho that i would like to have ago myself..... going for a meal with the family so see you later.
thanks

jake!

Not to be rude but do you mind me asking how much you paid for the system? Your budget of £500 for a cooling setup would suggest the PC cost you considerably more than that but looking at the PSU and GPU maybe not.

As for the CMOS reset, I can't see what multiplier you're running but if it is x47 then 1.20VCore isn't gonna be enough so this could be the problem although as someone has pointed out error 7B suggests a simple switch of your Sata Mode would suffice (page 4, option 2).

If you paid big bucks for your system I'd be half inclined to advise you return it and buy from OcUK.
