Humble Choice

I'm considering dumping it too.

I'm sure this bundle is full of excellent, little-known titles. But my "to play" list is so long now that they'll just go on the list of shame, never to be played. That's what's happened with the majority of the bundles I have bought.

I'm happy to get a bundle of (mostly) indie games every month. But I want to look at the list and see stuff that excites me straight away, not stuff I need to go off and research.

I cant actually remember the last game i downloaded from it tbh, gone way down hill, im on a classic and never pause, the way i see it is giving to charity once a month.

I have a massive list of games on my desktop notepad should i ever find anyone who wants some!

One of the members on HUKD (Illuisionary) organises a giveaway every week, should you wish to offload some codes. He's been doing it for over 5 years now, after taking over from another member (currently on week 342). Lately the number of codes he's getting has gone down, so I'm sure he would appreciate anything you don't want, as it must take a bit of time sorting it out each week (which he does, even if there aren't many codes).

I completely forgot about this; I usually check on the day, pretty much as soon as it's unveiled. Just goes to show how much the excitement has disappeared :p

Looks like a good bundle for once though. But still probably a pass for me. While the games are better... Darksiders and Yakuza are on Game Pass for Xbox and Rome is on GP for PC. They've been there for months and I haven't touched any of them.

Will take a look at the others though, see if there's anything worth a look. The three headline games should at least be tradable for something half decent.

Overcooked 2, Children of Morta, and Indivisible are the only three I've heard of... all three are on Game Pass

Hard pass on this one.

Just cancelled mine. I don't think IGN get what the problem is TBH.

Game Pass, over the first two weeks of December, is adding Doom Eternal, GreedFall, Haven, Call of the Sea, Starbound, and a few other games, plus EA Play. Ubisoft+ has just added Fenyx Rising. Cyberpunk is out next week.

Against that, who wants a bundle of indie games for a tenner? Even throwing in a month of EA Play and offering £3 off if you try and cancel does nothing to fix the fundamental problem; there are only so many hours in a day. Every month it's the same thing with Choice; great value, but a boring selection of games (with a few exceptions).

Just had an email through offering this at £4.44/month for the next six months if I sign back up (Premium plan, not Classic). Cheapest deal I've seen yet!

And yet, price still isn't the problem :p

Very happy with this one. Easily worth the cost of entry for PC Building, Ancestors, and Chaosbane. Total Tank Simulator, Not Tonight, Shadows of New York and Deleveled look worth a go too.

I was hoping for a cracker month this month, but these are terrible.

Paused for a month at least.

Song of Horror does look good though. :)

If you want Song of Horror, I'm about to add it to my For Sale thread, here. Not my cup of tea at all.

TLDW:

Really Good:
Moving Out
Trine 4
Valfaris

Worth Playing:
Valkyria Chronicles 2
Train Station Renovation
Werewolf - Heart of the Forest
Iris

Okay:
Outward
Endless Space 2
Lovecraft's Untold Stories
Co-Open

Kinda Poor:
The Wild Eight (survival abandonware)
Boomerang Fu (dull)

Nothing here for me this month really. Got Trine on Xbox. Moving Out seems interesting, but couch co-op on PC is a nope. Valfaris isn't my sort of thing. Valkyria is fine, but not something that really has me excited. And the rest are games I'll never bother playing.

I've gone for it.

Even with Control being on Game Pass, I think there's enough here to justify the price. Chimera Squad, Battlegrounds, Peaky Blinders, Kingdom Two Crowns, Wildfire and Ruin Raiders (bonus game) look good. On the fence about Elex. Will pop my spares on the MM.

Careful with that, Humble has gone a bit mad in last few months and randomly seem to use the ban hammer for that.

https://old.reddit.com/r/GameDealsM...ware_of_humble_bundles_gift_links_there_have/

Doesn't seem to be any specific thing that triggers it, humble just seem to be throwing the ban hammer around randomly when you give away too many games from the bundles.

Yeah, I know about that. I don't use gift links, and I claim all the keys and store them in a spreadsheet. Also got all the Trove games stored on a spare drive. A ban won't matter much as AFAIK they can't revoke keys.

Not a bad month. Metro, Genesis, CSD!3, Size Matters, Morkredd, Relicta, and Family Man all look good to me. Maybe Levelhead too. Not sure if I'll enjoy that one.

Ikenfell is great. Playing through that on Game Pass at the moment. Probably some fun to be had with Stubbs and Worms too (not sure how long it would take for them to get boring...).

I'm in for Civ VI alone. If it wasn't for that, this would be the first pass in a while.

Excellent month this time:

Yakuza 3 Remastered
The Surge 2
Dirt 5
Hammering
Nimbatus
Paradise Killer
Kill It With Fire
Bee Simulator
Elderborn
SWINE HD
Deadly Days
ADOM
Creatorcrate

Yakuza 3, The Surge 2, and Dirt 5 being on Game Pass takes the shine off a bit. But Hammerting, Nimbatus, Kill It With Fire, Bee Simulator, SWINE, and Deadly Days all look interesting to me. Not sold on the others.
