Humble Choice

Paused for the first time ever... gonna have to make more of an effort to do so going forward unless there's something I genuinely want as I have enough games backlogged to get me through to the next major extinction event :P
(and a lot of them show up free on epic/prime a few months later anyway)

JA3 is fantastic, great gameplay, great music, great writing, and it is way more RPGish than I expected

I'm not sure what to make of it. I want more handholding during the tutorial as I'm still having to figure too many things out for myself.

To those complaining about the latest Choice games - There are 5 games included with Steam ratings over 89% positive that even on CD Keys would have cost around £50 to purchase. Then, there are a handful of other ~70% games. Genuinely interested about what you expect on any given month?

God of War: Ragnarok please.

If I was a developer, I would never add a game to humble bundle. The way its value instantly drops to few pennies, and basically stays there forever, killing all future sales on Steam and non-reseller platforms, is just suicidal. I actually saw interview with one czech indie dev where he lamented exactly this - after he added his game (really cool strategy https://store.steampowered.com/app/1157220/Nebuchadnezzar/ ) to HB, all his sales basically dropped to zero and even years after the bundle, people are buying the game for 1 euro on reseller websites instead of on Steam. The regret was palpable.

I have been quite underwhelmed with the last two months offerings. I was so upset with the December's (Christmas) games I emailed my feelings. January's offerings.... meh. Thinking of putting a stop to subscription.

Looks like Trepang2 is worth the price of admission this month. I've read good things about that one.

Yeah there's a few good games this month, shame immortals is a EA code tho, while I don't necessarily want too play game now it would have been interesting to give it a go

Trepang looks cool and immortals doesn't look bad. On looking earlier, I thought TW: P would be the main pull for me but after checking steam reviews I'm less hyped for it :/
Torn whether I'll pause again this month
