Humble Choice

Signed up last month for Pacific drive and HW3, glad I didn't cancel straight away as I've had Aliens DD on my wishlist for a while and would have happily paid the £8 just for that :)

For the money cannot complain at all with this months bundle. Maybe not games to your taste, but Boltgun and the Legacy of Kain remasters are worth the price of entry alone.
The entire bundle is 80%+ on metacritic.

Boltgun looks great and i would be tempted had i not already bought project warlock and Prodeus in the last few weeks... of course that is a me problem not a bundle issue !

As someone who has played both of those and Boltgun as well, if you're a 40k/Doom fan, you will really like Boltgun.
The other two felt more aimless to me whereas Boltgun has an actual narrative as well.

I dont mean completely aimless but it was usually just moving from level to level, with somewhat detached levels, like Doom 1, whereas Boltgun brings a narrative and story more overtly to the progression.

**** that - even with some months being hit or miss, have got most months for the last few years as it was at a price point that I was ok with. >25% monthly price increase with nothing in return, it will have to take a very special month to bite.

Real shame how it has declined (as with everything these days) since IGN aquired Humble.

It's worth buying the annual on their Black Friday deal if they continue it. Think it worked out about £6.60-£7 a month IIRC

But not I'd buy very few at £11.50 and would just hit up the key sites for titles I wanted (Humble keys get sold off there)

Meh.. still getting a lot of games for £11.50

This months bundle was spot on. Boltgun easily worth a tenner lol

But it's literally £2-3

Edit. Appreciate you could just mean you enjoyed it a lot so it's worth a tenner to you for the price of a subscription

Better to just buy the games you want individually on key sites. It is rare that they have many games I want in the same month.

It has been many months now that nothing even interests me.

Yeh I guess that's what I do tbf.

I did buy one month this year mind. But that was it apart from key sites.

I've obviously been on this for far too long... I'm still being billed in USD :D (I only realised that the other day because i was looking through my bank charges and realised they were all for foreign currency conversion)
I keep meaning to cancel it but there's usually one or two that I'm only just interested in enough to think "**** it, it can stay for now"

A Classic Plan hold out! Can't be many of you left now :p

I wonder if you will be impacted by this price rise?
