"Hundreds" of Met Police armed response officers hand in the weapons after colleague charged with murder - Chris Kaba Shooting aftermath.

Let’s all congratulate ourselves further on having correct opinions whilst arguing against and criticising a massively compromised grieving family. Keep posting lads. Really good discourse.

It’s very important the justice system got this correct and it’s worthy to talk about it.

Also worth noting the poor families of those he hurt.

the problem is people other than the families of the victim who I do sympathise with to a point are STILL accusing him and playing the racist card.
and where was the sympathy to the accused police officer and his family in the press when it all kicked off?
ideally no names should have been released until after the court case. but I realise that isn't practical

He was a violent career criminal shot whilst trying to ram his way out of a police stop by driving at officers he knew were armed..... and some of the family are still trying to cause bother.

Zero sympathy for such people

It’s the officers family and colleagues I have sympathy for.

Oh and the countless other future victims that will arise because firearms officers no longer want involved for fear of being thrown to the mob.

People are congratulating themselves for seeing through the blatant media lies, spin and the clear “racist” angle/bias they were all too clearly trying to push.

It’s that toxic, and untrue , narrative which people are sick of seeing time and time again in the media….

It’s about time we started asking exactly why that’s the narrative our media are so keen to readily promote even on occasions like this when there’s literally no evidence to suggest it…..

Just look at the usual suspects who yesterday were fawning over themselves and frothing at the mouth at the prospect of this being the UKs “George Flloyd moment”……!

They clearly didn’t care about the individual involved or the bereaved family. Until today it was just useful clickbait they could push their political agenda with.

lol. How can they tell through tinted windows when he has no docs to drive that vehicle. They are not magicians. Stick to motors
got to be able to see what you are shooting at, plus looked like a significant risk of cross-fire too, maybe angle of shot precluded that
a few people round here have illegal I guess, front windscreen blue tint so that you cannot tell if there is a driver.

Are you honestly saying that the officer is to recognise every horrible scum bag in London?
