Hungarian Grand Prix 2015, Hungaroring - Race 10/19

I don't think Williams will be as bad as some are anticipating this weekend.

Depends, if it's wet in qualifying I can see them being way way down then struggling to follow others in corners and getting past in the race even if it's dry, if they start far back then it's a wet race as well..... can't see them doing anything.

Though they have apparently brought a Merc copy wing to Hungary but they only have one, Bottas getting it supposedly because he's ahead in the WDC, more likely because he has a way lower chance of breaking it than Massa :p

Williams are targeting Jenson Button next year should Bottas leave. Whoa what a story thatd be. Driving for Frank Williams again and back to where it all started!

BBC: Jenson Button could replace Williams' Valtteri Bottas

Very, very unlikely that Williams would be able to afford Button, let alone the obvious number of contract hurdles which would need to lapse.

He's already resigned for Williams once already... the second debacle tarnished his reputation at the time somewhat, but it did indirectly lead to his title I suppose.

Could... ok, so thats another article full of **** by Benson. Wow, he just makes stuff up doesn't he.

Really, why would Williams put two old farts in their cars next year? It is reported that Massa is there next year, so I wouldn't expect Button to have a seat there. Its just a stupid thought. What would they get out of it?

It's probably the stupidly low pressures the tyres are run under - there's a lot of bounce in them. Just in this case the errant wheel bounced the car up and over.

It was weird to see though. Front-right and rear-right both failed and it ends up going over the left wheels instead.

It's the sort of flip you used to see quite a bit in the likes of Formula Ford and BMW with the cars and drivers weighing sod all.

Based on practice pace, McLaren seem to have made a bit of a step up?

They ought to be faster here than usual given the nature of the track, but in reality they are still around two seconds off the pace. They've made perhaps two or three tenths to Mercedes since Monaco.

This is the half-way point of the season now too, so nowhere near enough progress being made. I thought regular top 10 Q3s would be possible by now, and while it might happen here, it certainly won't in the next two races.

Something is up with JB's car though, no way is he 0.5 secs off alonso. I wonder what the cryptic message he made back to the pits meant. “I could be quicker but you know why l can’t.”
