Hungarian Grand Prix 2016, Budapest - Race 11/21

As this_is_gav has said, this is actually a very consistent rule. They consistently don't enforce it.

No real point in 2 levels of yellow flags is there.
You'd think they'd be paranoid after Bianchi worth safety stuff.

Yes there is. They are 2 very different degrees of severity. Double waved yellows is for stationary cars on the racing line, men or vehicles on track, etc. Single yellows is for less severe issues like a slow moving car off line.

Just being pedantic, but a slow moving car is a white flag.

So because of wet qualifying, have the q3 top 10 got free slick choice for the start, or do they have to use the softest available compound?

But in real terms how would they enforce the difference?

What do you mean? A single yellow flag has single yellow flags waved and a solid flashing light, a double yellow has double yellows waved and a diagonally alternating flashing light. They are defined by themselves?

Just saw the replay on C4. Don't see a problem, Alonso was back on the track and going. Unlucky for people ahead of Rosberg, just like Kimi was unlucky in Q2.

Is that a genuine grid position for McLaren, or changing track and grid penalties. Miss everything so far, been away.

And fia need to enforce double yellows, only a matter of time before a bad crash.
