Oh! Looks like something off Rubens car hit Massa. Possibility that Brawn will disqualified from racing on safety grounds?

That looks bad. His visor broke with the hit from what I can see in the replay!

Doesn't make sense though... if Massa got hit hard enough for it to be serious, surely he would be unconscious and not break at all?

No news yet. He's being "stabilised" by medical staff.

Eddie Jordan says Massa suffered temporary concussion after a blow to the chin but is otherwise okay. Won't give his souce though.

I saw the re-play on SuperSports2 here in South Africa. You see a small object fly towards the in car camera, then after that there didn't seem to be any driver input. The computer graphic showed the throttle fully open, and no attempt from Philipe to move the steering wheel. Strangely it did sound like the car was downshifting as it was in the gravel trap though.

Various reports online from folk who have seen replays suggesting something hit FM right on the front of the helmet.

That was my thought. The tyre marks look like he was braking.

But people who have seen the replay are saying the onscreen telemetry graphics showed he went in full throttle and never attempted to brake.
