According to the driver tracker Di Resta has stopped on the straight leading to the first sector mark.

Lots of drivers span today, I would say a fluke is too harsh.

Hamilton was supreme today up until that point. Hamiltons bad luck was repassing Button, I imagine Button would have gone to inters himself if not.

whilst it may not be a fluke button clearly isnt the fastest in the wet , he clearly isnt the fastest in greasy conditions.

check out the laptimes he was one of the slowest out of mclran, rbr and ferrari for pretty much the whole race

I think that was a harsh penalty for Hamilton.

He was clearly in the way where he stopped.

But Vettle extends his lead again ffs.

He was already on the wrong tyres though, so probably took a gamble.

laptimes dont win you races if you keep throwing it off the track and make the wrong tire calls...

He is better at tyre choices, not spinning and not making rash moves though, that isn't a fluke

Why do you think that? Hes shown time and again to be able to be stay on the 'weaker' tyre in changeable conditions to give him that time to make a more informed decision. I dont think he would have IMO
