Why do you think that? Hes shown time and again to be able to be stay on the 'weaker' tyre in changeable conditions to give him that time to make a more informed decision. I dont think he would have IMO

yea but people like brundle claiming hes a wet weather driver or great on a greasy track are speaking BS when hes consistnely posting slower sector times often by a fair margin .
he keeps it on the track same as most of his wins in his life even with brawnGP, he never seems to really go for it like everyone else does and for this reason i cant really rate with as beeing up their with hamilton and alonso.
heavy fuel favors button obviously if they went back to refueling and all out pace lap after lap button wouldnt be anywhere near the top drivers

The race was lost when lewis got Super softs instead of the harder tyres. He wouldnt of gotten to the end of the race so going on the inters wouldnt of made a diffrence
But even Horners Inters arent that much better - are they?Hamilton to visit horner again for a chat

No finishing first counts, he finished first.
Don't get nme wrong, I would have been just as happy for Lewis to win, I like them both, but Hamilton messed up, Button beat Vettel, so clearly he knew what he was doing.
Yet crucially, he was also the one who didn't spin, didn't make any unnecessary stops or get involved in any dodgy situations.
That's what has left him atop the podium.

16.1 "Incident" means any occurrence or series of occurrences involving one or more drivers, or any action by any driver, which is reported to the stewards by the race director (or noted by the stewards and referred to the race director for investigation) which :
- caused a collision ;
- forced a driver off the track ;
