You've gotta ask what is the voodoo behind the nissan GTR that makes it so dam fast!

I know parkers figures for 0-62 etc must be taken with a pinch of salt but they provide a baseline we can use for comparison.

Ferrari 599 GTB
0-62: 3.6 seconds
Power: 612bhp
Torque: 608nm
Weight: 1580kg
MPG: 12
Top Speed: 205mph
Engine: V12

Nissan GTR
0-62: 3.4 seconds
Power: 471bhp
Torque: 588nm
Weight: 1740kg
MPG: 20
Top Speed: 193mph
Engine: V6

So the GTR is a third of the price, 160kg heavier, seats 4 persons, has half the number of pistons, has a higher mpg and still beats the ferrari 0-62!

Of course we can't rationalise the better car based solely on statistics, not many would claim they would have a free GTR over a free ferrari. It's just mental how a bigger heavier car with a smaller engine is so quick!
 
4WD, trick diffs and electronic gubbins for the perfect launch = very quick from a standing start. Once rolling it still has massive torque which helps propel it along.
 
Even the interior pics looks good, I've said it before and I'll say it again fantastic car - goes off to check how much the insurance on one these would be :)
 
Any upgrades planned? :D

The standard Nissan GT-R will hit 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds and 0-100mph in 8.3 seconds compared to:


• Nissan GT-R 600bhp upgrade: 3.0 and 7.2
• Nissan GT-R 700bhp upgrade: 2.8 and 6.7
• Nissan GT-R 800bhp upgrade: 2.6 and 6.2


And the 700bhp Hennessey GT-R has been recorded as doing 0-186mph in 24.79 seconds, making the standard car’s 53.3 seconds look slow in comparison. Watch it below.

Awesome car, I'm jealous! I think I'll be sticking to the polygon version on GT5 unfortunately...
