That is an awesome car, good on you
I love the black wheels despite usually hating them

Any upgrades planned?

One day when I've made it into the big salary world...Hennessey will be getting a call![]()
The car is nicknamed godzilla i believe.
You've gotta ask what is the voodoo behind the nissan GTR that makes it so dam fast!
I know parkers figures for 0-62 etc must be taken with a pinch of salt but they provide a baseline we can use for comparison.
Ferrari 599 GTB
0-62: 3.6 seconds
Power: 612bhp
Torque: 608nm
Weight: 1580kg
MPG: 12
Top Speed: 205mph
Engine: V12
Nissan GTR
0-62: 3.4 seconds
Power: 471bhp
Torque: 588nm
Weight: 1740kg
MPG: 20
Top Speed: 193mph
Engine: V6
So the GTR is a third of the price, 160kg heavier, seats 4 persons, has half the number of pistons, has a higher mpg and still beats the ferrari 0-62!
Of course we can't rationalise the better car based solely on statistics, not many would claim they would have a free GTR over a free ferrari. It's just mental how a bigger heavier car with a smaller engine is so quick!
I can still think of many, many, many, many cars I'd have before the Nissan (hell, I even prefer my Seicento in a lot of ways.....and Seicentos truly are ******* rubbish!).
Clever 4wd Vs RWD would be my guess, I wonder how the GTR performs against the Gallardo.
Weight 1430 kg
0-60 mph 3.9 s
Power Output 493 bhp
Torque 510 Nm 376 lb-ft
Top Speed 196 mph
MPG 14
I think it was autocar that did this very test in the IOM, the GTR destroyed all the competition which included a Gallardo.

Funky 4WD again is my bet, maybe slightly shorter gearing. They have very similar torque so my guess is the extra power comes from a high revving V12.Ferrari 599 GTB
