You couldn't be more wrong, even if a winning combination comes up one week, there's no less chance of that same combination coming up the next week the odds remain the same.

Aren't you proving my point?

Statistically there is no reason why a lucky dip, or numbers you've picked off the top of your head are more likely to come up than 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. That's why if I ever played Deal or No Deal I'd just start from 1 and go up.

People will pick lucky numbers, or just plain spread out the circles evenly on the loto form (i have done this lol).

If you pick the mechine picked random numbers its a lot more random because humans are easly distracted and will pick numbers that just look right.

Machines can't do true random though, its pseudo random :p
 
I know someone who won £210,000 a few years ago. He lost most of it through a failed restaurant venture with his sons after a huge fall out with the one who was head chef.
