Sorry to hear it mate

I got my first fine tonight, a parking fine.

Parked up on an empty road at 7:30pm, directly outside Bargain Booze. Ran in, bought beers, ran back out... to see some traffic warden leaning over my car *cry*

What makes it worse, is that he told me that if I had parked 100 yards down the road on the single yellow line, I would have been ok. Doh! I would have done if it not for a bus being parked there.

You need to have the right attitude and a damn good excuse to escape from this one without major penalities.

I may have been done for doing 60 in a 40 today. It was just me being stupid, it was uphill and all

wow that is pretty extreme speeding. I guess it must have been showing 60 on your speedometer? It might have been safe to do that speed but still not worth the risk. Anyway, I guess you have learnt the lesson the hard way :/
