I can't be the only one who finds blower style graphics cards attractive?

Attractive? No, that's weird and you should be ashamed of your kink :D
But there is something to be said for exhausting hot air out of the case asap, a blower/passthrough hybrid could work well, perhaps send heat from 1 or the other out of the case and have passthrough for the other.
4090 fe does that, rear fan sucks in and blows out the back, next fan is just passthrough

I'd rather not had a 7800gt back in the day that needed hard moding to fix the fan being stuck at 100% all the time can still hear it lol.

Bear with me here guys

What I mean is, modern GPUs have all kind of crazy designs and advanced cooling, but something about the simple blower design, I just find very aesthetically pleasing?

Here's a few examples I grabbed of a Google search. Tell me I'm not the only one..

I had one of these, well the earlier metal design, and its a single fan so it has to ramp up to high speed to shift any kind of air volume plus it can only go in one direction, towards the back so honestly it was inefficient (it got hot especially in spots) as well as being very noisy. I wouldn't have one again

Remember buying third party heatsink for ati 1800 replacing the blower then using a couple of 12cm fans

Possibly made by artic?
Arctic Accelero Xtreme 3 fans yeah, had one of these and boy did it make a difference to noise and temps. Bit scary taking the thing back to a bare PCB and making sure the VRM's heatpads mated up to the heatsinks (needed to double up on occasion)

I had an artic cooler on an x1900xt, but it was one of those coolers that was blower like with a larger fan at one end.

Ed: one of these:

The the accelero X2 cooler came along and later the larger coolers you could strap multiple fans on.

Had one of those or very similar on a X850XTX. If I remember correctly the clear plastic reacted to UV cathodes.

I always liked blower cards. 1080Ti FE is probably peak blower.

They were always loud, but useful in SLI setups, and also particularly good for small ITX builds.

Some lower end cards like a 4060 could easily be a blower without thermal issues.

The gtx 480 just looked so raw and one of the best designs for a blower card, looks-wise, anyways

Hell yeah totally agree, those versions of 1080 Ti and GTX 480 just have an awesome look to them. I'm hoping for a throwback style RTX 5070 in the upcoming launch, something that looks cool and a bit retro, bored of the same triple fan behemoths that modern GPUs have.. (Mind you they do cool well lol).

They are just far too loud in reality. They are the best design, in terms of getting the heat away from the component and out the chassis (with exception of AIO style coolers), but at the cost of acoustics. Some of the blower coolers I've had have legit sounded like hairdryers!

Worst, by an absolute mile was the old Geforce FX5800 Ultra. It didn't even have a ramp on the fan. As soon as a 3d app was detected... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I wouldn't hold my breath, as I think the days of blower cards is over
