A little but the main thing was just making sure I got wha I really wanted. The Akra is seriously expensive at almost $6k but I figured if I'm going to do it, I'm best spending the extra few $ to get it right.

Full titanium systems aren't cheap. I thought the price was mad too but it seems most M3 exhausts are in the $3.5k-6k range, some like Kreisseig are almost $10k!! M3's are more expensive to tune than my 911 it seems.

Made from full titanium, and a special alloy of titanium of which is exclusive to Akrapovic apparently.

The Akrapovic titanium exhaust costs the same for other models such as the Porsche GT3 etc.. as well.

Oh and if you apply a bit of heat they look like the titanium you see on the Akrapovic bike cans

You're correct, they are just as expensive for the 911 but at least with the 911 you had other systems that only cost $1500. Not the case with M3's it seems.

I love the burnt Ti look but there's something in my head that says taking a blow torch to my $6k exhaust isn't the wisest move!!

They're a matte finish stock since they're titanium but yes I'll keep them that way unless the heat from driving changes the colour at all.

I'm going to put the wheels on hold, I'd prefer the exhaust over the wheels anyway. It would be foolish to drop $6k on wheels as well as an exhaust given what I was trying to achieve with this car.

My Coupe is lowered and it's just right IMO, but it is factory lowered rather than aftermarket.

Nice car Iceman. Quite tempted by that exhaust system now.... but I'd lose my lovely black tailpipes and I like them

I did look into it yes but I'm not a fan of the sound of them. I love Ti exhaust notes in general, much rounder note.

However, their Inconel one sounds fantastic, but the price is obscene..
