i despise STEAM!

its getting to be over 50% of the time i fail to login to steam and play the games i paid for!

its not just around the sales, its all the time.

i have spent a long time searching for the exe files to lauch directly but cannot find some of them, i have validation problems, and this is really getting on my **** now.

those under performing consoles that have been gathering dust since i started PC gaming is look very tempting again.
 
I never fail to login to steam.
When I have loads of downloads going (like now) it may crash and during sale times downloads are slow and sometimes games won't install because servers are overloaded but that is only ever during sales.

That said how can you hate Steam with these sales????????????

Check your internet connection, is something else heavily using the internet?
 
Well if you have any OC at all, take it off. Also unplug your network cable and go into BIOS and make sure the time/date is correct. Also run memtest

never ever had a problem with steam.

works all the time for me :)

sometimes its a bit slow downloading when the sale's are on but apart from that it's perfect.
 
the sales are amazing! if only i could play the games after i have bought them

and like i said, no over clock, i dont need it.

i have no problems with any other internet access.

what is memtest, is that to test ram or HDD test, will check bios clock now
