It's the sound of a fairly decent album by Shed 7.
I still quite like watching a decent fireworks display, there's something eminently childish about it and feeling the percussive force of the explosion deep in your chest. Unfortunately it tends to seriously upset any animals around, at the moment there's dozens of birds flying around madly due to being caught between a few fireworks displays.
Well i love fireworks and where i live they'll be likely going off all week, they have been constant for the last 2 hours and the air full of smoke, my little ones love them.
I hate them too. They make me jump, they scare animals, they are noisy and pointless. Any thing that scares animals that much can not be seen as good, its disrespectful to the animals! And also, they are a pain when you live in a city! I have been at my dads in the city for the past week and nearly every night they have been going off. I actually loath this time of the year due to the fact fire works are going off. They go off late at night too, after 10-11pm, which shouldn't be allowed due to people trying to sleep, especially kids!
edit: I was going to make this thread but I got beaten too it!
I hate them, not only do they scare my animals, there will also br idiots setting them off till 4am or later, although that's arguably a fault of the person not the firework.
I love fireworks but would never buy any. Go stand remotely near a local display and pay nothing and you then don't have the risk.
I know plenty of people have no problems but every year there are horror stories from both crazy kids and parents just having some kind of accident. Let the pro's handle it as they put on a brilliant display anyway.
Fire works used to make me cry as a kid, its loud noises. Like the ones that just set off, scared me so bad, I just really hate them, loads of loud bands, just scares me. The only loud noises like that I like are thunder claps. Might make me jump sometimes, but I love them. Fire works are like guns or bombs gonig off, too loud and scary, do not want
