I hate the VXR forums sometimes

thats not true. have a look on clubgti, theyre very "normal" on there

I didn't say it was all of them, because i know that people on NPOC, ITR-DC5 and generally Seat Sport.net are decent too.

But a lot of the other owners clubs do.

It seems to be the typical "owners club" style of talking and generally people on owners clubs are such raving fanboys, that they will not listen to what anyone else says about their car.

Even when somebody fits crappy Halfords wheels to their car, everyone seems to say "wow dey look sik bruf!" even though they look utter ********.

Indeed, similar on cliosport, the owners clubs for sporty hatchbacks seem to be the worst really as they by the nature of hatchbacks attract younger more immature drivers.

im gonna get the flame suit on for this... but id expect that from anything corsa (vauxhall in general tbh), fiesta, saxo, clio etc you can just imagine what those sites are like

AC Schnitzer i guess.

So a normal 325 with ACS stick on tat then, like I used to have. ;)

I just read that VXR thread, 20 pages of numpties basically. They've really done a lot to dispel the myth about VXR owners being knuckle dragging chavs. :D

No, a genuine ACS from factory, rescued from a barn. It has Type 1 Performance, Handling, Interior and Aerodynamic packs.

You find whats broken on your motor matt?

one of the dump valves (two on order from my good friends at VW!) and most likely the predictable n75 boost controller

i found a couple of the rattles... airbox only clipped down with three clips and a few other silly things

getting there mate.

I wont engage in further discussions with you though, as you clearly will never accept you are wrong, even in the countless times on here you have been proven wrong, you are just on a rampage to increase your post count :)

Right again. You'll note my posts in Motors only increased after they stopped posts in the testing forum adding to postcount :(

You sound like a really nice guy, I'm sure you'll grow to be a valued member of this community :)

Nice one, could have been a whole lot worse!

I've seen a Corsa VXR at the hands of an ex armed response driver and he was pestering the rear end of our EP3 CTRs with more at hand, but in the real world I doubt they're any better to live with or use, but that's an unqualified opinion.

I love the look of them though, and I love the awesome blue colour they do but there's nicer options out there.

Owners forums are all the same, mixed or otherwise. The Type-R forums I've been on have been quite mature though, there's nly the odd idiot that gets OcUK style treatment. In fact most of the owners have been 30+ that I've met and a good bunch of old boy racers. Had some great drives out with no silly stuff.

there is still a funny noise from the area around the off side turbo, but once ive got my stethescope again and the rest of my tool, in storage at the mo, ill start to tackle that

most of the whirring noise from the belts end seemed to be vac leaks n things
