I haz kittenz - watch them live here.

Seriously anyone want Lord Sandwich?

He is a great cat and really sweet. We just can't keep him.

Anyone?

There were a few people early in the thread who showed interest in getting the cats, but at the time you didn't want to give them away this way. I'll bet they aren't following the thread any more - but would appreciate the opportunity if you could contact them, or start a new thread that might catch their attention.

This thread keeps appearing and if the people who saw the kittehs had any real motivation to give them a good home they would still be following and making inquiries.

A lot of people probably see 4 week old kittens and say "I want". Then the reality of looking after a kitten/cat then probably sets in and then they probably are too CBA.

I can't believe how big Sammich looks now from the pic above. Looking at all of them compared to the pics still on the PooCam site they are so different! Amazing what a month or so can do. I'm hoping to get some new pics this weekend and I'll post them up!

I've had a good think about this and i don't think i can take LS, i would love him to bits but i just don't have the time during the week, couple of reasons i would feel bad about taking him:

1) I'm out between 7 and 5 during the week.

2) He would have no-one to play with during the day.

3) He would have to be a house cat.

4) Never had a cat before.

5) He would be locked out of the living room when i'm not in due to my expensive leather sofa.

6) I work away out of the country and i'm not sure if my parents would take him.

I just someone can give him the love he needs whoever he goes to :)

If we hadn't just taken on 3 more cats (now got 10) then we would have actually had him, not far from you either. Hope you find a place for him soon!

I knew Justin was a crazy cat lady!

pinter75 - does LS shed much cat hair?

Mimi and Dexter do not which is suprising. There is a little hair but I have yet to actually notice any hair just randomly kicking about.

I've had cats before, including a bit fat white cat that was "short hair" but malted like nothing I've ever seen before.

They are nothing like this but they are still kittens. I'd be tempted to say they are better if not just like a normal cat.

Maybe so, but the OP originally rebuffed those offers in a way that said that he was definitely not going to offer them through OCUK. So they had no reason to follow the thread once it slowed down.

I know I was surprised at the change of mind, and felt sorry for those who were eager earlier.

Poor Sandwich! Cracking name too.
He actually looks quite similar to my cat, Cluney. But they can't be brothers, I'm afraid!

Secretspy, if you're at home with your parents and they really don't want him then I fear they may not give him the attention that he deserves when you can't do it. Is it that fair on the cat?
Don't mean to be rude, but taking an animal into an environment where it predominately is not wanted isn't a good thing for it.

Come on guys and gals, if Sandwich is wanted we need to get him homed quick! Poor old Poppy is being harassed by all the toms in the neighbourhood as she is in heat again!!!

She is getting spayed next week, but with Sarnie here still wanting to suckle, stitches will get pulled.

Also for lols, Sandwitch has discovered that toilet bowls and cats don't mix. He jumped in it earlier (clean). Ever tried washing a kitten?, drying was cool though. Under a warm fan - he loved it.

He is awesome, he is asleep on my shoulders as I type this :-)

fair point but my mum's only argument is that she got fed up with looking after our last two when they got sick (i.e. really sick with kidney infection etc) and that my sisters moaned about the cat hairs because she let them sleep on the sofas.

I think he would get enough attention, I dont start work until 9am then I come home for lunch and my sister pops around 2 days a week. and my dad definitely would give him attention, he seemed to love our last two more than the rest of us lol

I love that video of them eating! As promised I have some more pictures taken this evening.

:D

Bit of an update, should be getting some more pictures when Khaaan! gets his camera back from being fixed.

In the mean time, this is what I have to put up with 2-3 times a day:

Sorry for the poor quality, filmed on my crappy Nokia phone. Still, you get the idea.

:D

We have an update too.

Rocky aka Lord Sandwich has now been re-homed.

Also Poo has been in for her op, which unless there is a miricle no more poocams.

She bounced back very quickly, allthough got a bit moody when I put the collar on.

Lots of walking backwards with that on, and I have some video.

Good to see they have settled in :-) Oue one year old still scream for food, we just cave in and feed him. Probably explains why he is the biggest cat ever.

Also that Pic of mimi mid jump is epic! Needs to be a motivational poster!
