Howdy gang.

Ok the fun and games last night were quite eventful. poppy was running about with little kitties in her mouth trying to find a new place to bed down.

The reason for this is they are getting big now. Amazing how much so in the one week they have been here.

I don;t think she can have them all cuddled up to her as they don't fit anymore.

As for sound that is tricky. We will have to remeber that we are broadcasting to loads of people. We will aim to get some soon. I have now got a Soundmax super beam mic I can use which will pick up everything.

They don't make all that much noise, but I will hook it up soon. I just want to let her relax before i go and start hacking the nest. I am also going to replace cam 2 with a better quality one.
 
Well, we are having trouble with Poo destroying her nest, so i ripped out the old carpet from the old one and stuck that in there.

Also our camera for feed 2 has died, and the only other one I had is well crappy and jittery.

Maybe if Spie sends me one of these bad boys...

In return for blantant advertising. In a week we have had near 12k views and 14k page impressions!

The problem i have is that flash does not allow 2 cams of the same type to be used. Shame as I have 2 decent Phillips Toucams.

We can get up and running again, with up to 4 cams! ;-)

If the cam goes off for a bit, it is because we are checking them to make sure they are in good health. We do this every day to make sure they are developing ok

I should say they are looking like little cats now, they are also awesome!

Also 18,000 page views in a week. Spie want some advertising for a new cam? ;-)

We are having much lols with the nicknaming part of the site. There are actually people clicking the vote button, even though we are picking what to call the beasities!

As for updates....

They are finding their feet and becoming little personalities. We have a noisy one, a sleepy one and a fat one.

So this weekend we hope to expand their area :-)
 
They are starting to attempt escapes of the nest. Plus if they are no sleeping or eating they are playing :-)

The black and white cat is Maisy, Poo's sister. She had a litter but then got spayed so she is interested and helps clean them. We call her "Mummy Maisy"

They all have to go, shame as they are really nice little cats.

We have 3 here already, and this lot totals 8 kittens we have had in less than 2 years!

Poo is going to be spayed soon, and then that is it - no more :-(

True you can never have too many cats as they do indeed rule.

One of the beasts escaped, we found him under the bed in the next room. Time to expand the nest - stage 2 woo!
