i just got dead space 2 but i'm so disappointed

i can do it myself...

they setted it up so all i have to do is hold down the back button for 3 seconds then tap a blank button (black button or a analog stick button) then tap whatever button i want it to be example B then tap back button then done

easy to do with my chin.

I guess the worry is that some hack detection might pick it up as an autofire/macro kind of hack. I know with punkbuster on the PC you can change the level of detection on the server and the higher level kicks for macro detection. Thing is it used to kick people with keyboards etc that could potentially run macros, even if they weren't. No idea if it still does but tbh I don't think anyone really runs it like that and it's certainly was never the default. iirc it was only ever a kick violation, never a ban.



@ AskACapper, just been trying to sign the petition but it doesn't seem to be work for me. Just sits with the spinning dots on submission. Tried FF and IE. Is it closed?

well windows sees the controller as a normal xbox controller and so far i've not had any issues.
 
Disappointed? I'd never dream of buying his pile of pap! I was suckered into DS1 and i have to say it was the worst game i've ever thrown money at. Usually the first release should be enough to deter people buying anything they make...

Dead Space 1 and 2 are both excellent games.
 
I never liked them. Once I eventually managed to sort the v-sync lag, I just found the over the shoulder camera annoying and awkward. On the plus side, they are very atmospheric games.

You mean atmospheric as in stupidly dark in places and things that jump out to catch you off guard? thats not psychological enough for me and I didnt like it. Any game can make you jump by having something happen suddenly, or make you have to react quickly. Not many games can actually build atmosphere...

Something like the earlier Silent Hills...

Amnesia was good at psychological atmosphere.

Oh and I still remember the first level of Unreal 1 freaking me out, although I was *a lot* younger! Shame the rest of the game was somewhat pants...
