hahahahha £100 on a night out u muppets :D

i buy a £6 bottle of vodka a £1 bottle of joke... and that can get me very drunk ....twice ;)

if im going out i get drunk enough that i only have to buy a couple of drinks whilst out... but sober enough that i can actually walk into places without having to be carried :D

A bottle of joke for £1!

bargain! :p

Does the £100 some of you are spending include clothes or what?!

Living in leeds, it's a short walk to the town centre, encompassing most clubs. ~£6 entry fee (except if a guest DJ is playing taking it to ~£12).
Cheap spot for around 4 pints at say on average £1.80 a pint.
Maybe a pint or 2 in club at £2.50 - £3.00.
Finish on the JD and cokes (or whatever drink offer is running!)

That's £35 at most!

"usual" night's out come closer to £15.

The thing is my drinking buddy doesnt do pints, he drinks southern comfort :/

And I'd feel silly drinking pint after pint while he sips his drink.

I hate entrance fee's, it's not worth it.

I gave up seriously drinking in my first year at uni, after I vommed all over my bed. It was in my hair and everything. Gross. It was all up the wall, and I'd written off a brilliant Cameron Diaz poster. Disaster.

Haven't drunk heavily since then.

£40!!

The master of the £3 night out: cheap bottle of wine drank before going to a free club.

If I am feeling plush I'll go out with a fiver, get to a free club or bar, 5 pints of rats ****: stella/T/Calrsberg/Heinekin/Fosters yuck at £1 a pint. Or maybe I'll have 3 pints and get 4x whsiky and cokes at 50p each.

£40 is what I have to buy food for a month!

No swearing. FF.

sorry! didn' think it was a sweary. :)

40 quid in Nottingham is reasonable, unless I start before 8 and/or pay a lot for entrance to somewhere.

London is closer to a ton for a proper night out, makes me wonder why I'm moving down!

£40 is stupid.

I spend at least £80 on a night out.

£40 would barely get me there.

I suppose it depends where you go. In London me and the missus will spend about £200 between us. In the Uni scene or at home, £40 is about right for me. Let's assume that each pint costs an average of £2, that's 20 pints, or say if shots are £1 each, say you drink 16 shots and 12 pints, that's enough to get any human pretty far gone. I'm a big drinker, and I can happily say that with that quantity of booze inside me, I'd be pretty damned wasted.

I'm assuming that, in your area, drinks are double the price of those stated?

People who blow £80+ in local clubs are generally the ones you see absolutely off their nut by 12, buying drinks for everyone in sight.

Ant

Well yesterday I went out for a few drinks with Hedge, had a few pints played on the bandit abit, came in to the last pub before we were to go home (I had spent around 30 quid at this point) thought

"oh ill play on the bandit abit"

and left with 56 quid, was quite chuffed

I was lucky to have a HUGE winning streak on the fruities. It was statistically impossible just how much I was winning :p unfortunately it came to an end and I kept getting tempted to " just have a shot on this one" but alas my luck never returned :( :p

until i can afford it.

Seriously though £40 down on one night out.

£14 for for...

35cl bottle of jd
4 cans of carlsbreg (Wtf?)
4 muffins
1 custard

The rest was spent on jd & coke + southern comfort & lemonaid (Rounds)

I think i'll just go to the offy from now on it probably works out cheaper.

The thing is my drinking homie (His white but wants to be black) Drinks southern comfort and lemonaid instead of pints so i feel funny having a pint while his with his southern comfort.

anyway 35cljd for just under £10 good deal?

pethetic i spent 55 quid last saturday.

14 jack daniels and cokes.

8 Sambukas.

2 pints of stella.

2 pints of strongbow.

1 vodka and coke

and thats what i can remember!!

I'm hardly going to dispute this :D Anything over a few pints is binge drinking :/

Well, I do think the government's definition is a bit excessive. I prefer the one I saw on wikipedia that described binge drinking as drinking for the sole purpose of getting drunk.

I don't drink anymore so its all good. I personally think its a complete rip off going out. I'd rather stay in and watch a movie and maybe order a pizza :)
