I love Final Fantasy XV

I'm upto chapter 14 now, glad I did all the side quests before going to Altissa as it really does put you on rails from that part. I did Chapter 13 with Noctus as it was originally intended and I can see why it annoyed many people what a breakup of fast flowing combat into that section.

I'm thinking I'll push on with 14 tonight and get the story finished then chip away at sidequests that only appear after completing the story. I need to remember to get the daggers whilst in Insomia aswell as they keep being referred to the best in game.

I will say now I've got all 13 armiger weapons it looks so good when your moving around with them all floating.

Completely forgot this is a thing.

Any news on this? Last I heard the game was getting cut up into chunks like Hitman and RE:Revelations, that bummed me out.
I hope they don’t do that. I would rather wait a few more years and have it as one whole game.

One of the great things about waiting for Final Fantasy 15 on the PC for me is not only do I get the whole game (including dlc), I get the improved version with better graphics. I won’t be playing it until the new nvidia cards come out anyway, so by then any lingering bugs should be squashed, and the price will come down too :)

I'm in the same boat as you, usually waiting a while after a game release nowadays means you usually get a bug free, complete game.

I'll happily wait for FFVII, I have tons of other games to play in the meantime.

Barely anything really. Yeah it will be episodic and apparently there will be significant periods of time between episodes which... isn't the best news. I think they came out and mentioned this last year and said something about releasing content between episodes to keep fans interested (sounds like DLC.)

Yeah its not ideal, my hope is that its in 3 parts like the original game discs, but I've got a bad feeling it'll be more. Although I understand why considering the expanse of the original game, and I do want them to cover the whole game not just selected moments.

I'm not expecting the first part until 2020, and we probably won't see the entire finished product until 2023/24 :(

God that is depressing. :/

In the mean time I would just like a HD remaster of the old content - heck I think I would be happier with that. Just update the character models similar to what is available through mods and update the background visuals

They'll be 4 new dlc episodes coming for 15 in 2019, not sure why they can't release any later this year but I'm all for more content, episodes will be Ardyn, Luna and 2 others.

Up to the stage where I've got the last boss battle to do and that's story over before starting on the 'aftergame' stuff.

Finished episode Prompto yesterday and it was a decent back story though it felt like playing mw2 at points with the snow mobile, didn't bother with any of the side quests.

Finally finished the main game after 60 hours, I can't remember the last game where the ending hit me as hard as this one did possibly ME2. Enjoyed my play through for the most part with the exception of chapter 13 and a few forced stealth quests. The music and cutscenes at the end were really good and told a emotional story.

Got the end game stuff opened now to chip away at the quests from Rudolph and the locked dungeons within dungeons and Episode Ignis (left this as it can change the main ending if you play it first and I wanted a 'vanilla' ending)

Really making me want to play it man. Was about to pick it up on steam sale yesterday, but I only have a temp 1050 right now waiting for the next gen nvidia cards so I can play it properly on 4K. By then I figure it may be even cheaper on steam summer sales.

Finally got round to finishing the Ignis DLC, I wish the endings for that were in the main game they answered questions and added more than the vanilla ending we got.

All done for me now until the new DLC are out next year at the earliest.

Anyone else playing this? I am done with it now after completing the main game, all the dlc and done quite a lot of the side quests in chapter 15. Killed level 120 bosses no problem :)

Managed to get to level 84 naturally without needing to use any of the xp boost tricks online. I don't see the point in those, as once you max everything out you are likely to lose interest in the game easier.

I still have the extra dungeons to do, but will come back to that in the future when the new dlc comes out.

I really enjoyed the game, but shame it has flaws unfortunately. The story did not grip me like FF7, but it was not bad. The magic system could have been a hell of a lot better and summon was weak also. The graphics are phenomenal though, such a pleasure roaming around. Overall will give it a 8.9 :)

@Gregster You started playing this yet mate?
