I'm with you, it's just misleading is all and I don't think the fans of the game/series on here will like posting in a topic with a name like that, can you imagine if the Dark Souls thread was called 'Edgy Zelda: The game... linear tryhard title hits steam' nobody who liked the game would want to go near that topic! :eek:
 
No need to be deliberately provocative (and of your 3 observations I think only the fact that it's a JRPG is accurate)...and this is actually a good thing that we're seeing big name console games get ported to PC. It's much better that big companies consider it worth making games available on Steam rather than ignoring it altogether.
 
I see you're establishing your name here as the #1 hater of everything that's Japanese or "anime". Granted, FFV isn't very good and some Japanese games are pretty bad but there are some that are exceptional. Just as there are anime that have plots and concepts more clever than most Western stuff you'll ever watch. But I guess it's somewhat hard to understand for someone that calls stuff he doesn't like "cancer":p
 
If you don't like this series of games, or Japanese games in general then just ignore it rather than spreading your dislike towards it.

Sometimes, you need to just keep your opinions and general dislike for things to yourself, as other people may in fact like what you dislike.

Thanks for posting this, I LOVE ff games and will defo be buying this, its one of the games that makes me regret selling my ps4 pro but now can play on pc :)
 
This FF seems to be lacking in non-human races. They always made the older games more interesting. Still, I'll probably give it a try if the price is reasonable.

Did you play the translated PS2 version? I'm glad they kept the Seitengrat in the re-release. Took me what seemed like an age of reloading to get the damned thing on the PS2 but it was almost essential for the final trial.
 
i bought it for the xbox one, played through the tutorial and about an hour of the game and haven't played it since, I'll have to go through the tutorial again now to relearn the combat system if I want to play it again, why have they changed the combat system, WHYYYYYYYY????
 
Got this on my PS4, haven't really even considered playing it since completing the first area.
I find the environment dull and the characters are just not likeable in any form, also the combat... it's essentially a hack n' slash game now.
