I think our very own true romantic, Cheekykid, should take heed of this:
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3521943/Man-dumped-by-male-visa-bride.html

A SCHOOL caretaker is heartbroken after getting his transsexual Malaysian wife a visa - only for her to leave him.
Ian Young, 32, spent £12,000 on winning missus Fatine, 38, permanent leave to stay in Britain.

But two weeks after it was granted she walked out and headed to Blackpool. Ian now has no idea where she is.

I was browsing a web cam models website(MFC) for purely educational purposes and as it happened I started talking to a romanian girl who works there.
...
I was only cruising around on that site for noble reasons. I haven't spent a dime
...
She's visiting me on April. I am located in London. If we like each other live as much as online we shall engage in a relationship.
...
I'll be happy to see her and I have put aside about 10 condoms for a rainy day. Now, I haven't put all my hopes in one basket but spread it out. I believe she could really be the one, my no.1.

My bitch will come to see me in April and I have no evidence to suggest so far that shes after my money. If she is she will find out am the wrong guy.

I am glad to say my babe is coming over this April and she won't be up for grabs as she will be available only for my perusal.

I'll reiterate that I won't pay anything for her other than a meal and this sort of basic stuff.

We are booking tickets shortly.

Ok tickets booked just today! I paid £150:eek:

She's coming in mid april.

She can't afford at this point of time so its either I pay or we need to wait longer for a meet up which i don't have patience for.

Anyone wants to come to Heathrow to document the event?

My "losses" so far are in the region of 250-£270 and i will not be sponsoring any shopping spree of hers or anything. In fact I doubt she will ask for anything as she hasn't show any indication of this type of behaviour thus far and everything has been my decision.

I am actually rather proud of my record on GD. I would defend it every day

Who's up to come down to Heathrow? She's coming over on the 21st of April.

I have seen her on skype so I know how she looks guys.

There is a decent chance I can score.

I have already said and I also wait for people to rise to my challenge to come down to Heathrow. Applicants post here on why you should be chosen and one of you must have a decent camera. Also no chavs please.

It's not only about mating. I also have honourable intentions about her.

In the looks department I would give me about 8 as am not much into working out etc. Having said that am quite a charm and eloquent

Either the OP is a very obvious troll, or he is setting new levels of naivety and desperation.

I think whats happened is this - he genuinly believed she was who she said she was, once we started digging, things like her age, her marital status etc became apparent that she was lying to him, he confronted her, it all came out that she was actually a dude called Brian and now he's too embarassed to show himself.

Prediction:

It turns out Cheekykid is secretly a romanian cam-girl himself.

Then she and Brian really hit it off... ;)

The OP is a troll.

And then you post this which isn't anything what cheekyvid has done

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion. In addition to the offending poster, the noun troll can also refer to the provocative message itself, as in "that was an excellent troll you posted". While the term troll and its associated action trolling are primarily associated with Internet discourse, media attention in recent years has made such labels highly subjective, with trolling being used to describe intentionally provocative actions outside of an online context. For example, recent media accounts have used the term troll to describe "a person who defaces internet tribute sites with the aim of causing grief to families."

So if the above is a troll then cheekyvid isn't (not in this thread anyway).

Can't this thread be closed? OP isn't returning and it's now just a back and forth between people arguing whether it's a troll and people asking for a summary.

Someone wrap this up.
