I passed:D wooo

IG 1 for the 1.0 Basic Spec
IG 2 for the 1.0 Middle Spec
IG 3 for the 1.0 top spec

IG 2 & 3 for the 1.2 16v.

TBH the groups mean very little best bet is to get a quote.

What about the 1.0 then, had a quote for that?

Would be interesting to see the price diff considering the 1.2 is a world away from the 1.0.

If your looking to buy the 1.2, no it isn't group 1, only some of the 1.0 12v versions are group one and tbh it would be silly to think about getting one of them ;)

are you buying new or nearly new? you may get free insurance if you buy new(you will loose a lot of money in depreciation buying a new corsa). but even then, 1495 isnt that bad for being a 17yr old new driver.

i suggest you try tesco as they were cheapest for me in my first year. maybe you could also try that "sheilas wheels" or another company that prefers female drivers.

I have tryed the corsa 1.0 for insurance and its about 1350 i think, but i wont be getting a 1.0 because the engine in the 1.2 is better than 1.0.

Thats where i got the quote from chopchop, have tryed other female preferred companies but they seem to be higher than tesco, will have another look at insurance groups.

pretty much all the free insurance jobbies are for 19+ now :(

1500 fully comp isnt bad at all, cheapest i can get TPFT on a 1.2 N reg clio as a male is £1900 lol.

You just gotta look hard, I finally got my Rover 1.4si TPFT for under £1200 with norwich union, all other companies were quoting around £2k and i wouldnt pay more than £100 p/m for insurance on my poor wage!
