I reckon Manchester United will win the 2006 Premiership (+Spoilers)

It may be quite a statement but, I just got a feeling, a hunch, a niggle, call it what you want and yeah you can even call me crazy but here's my thoughts.

Looking at Chelsea just 9 Points above Man U and the 2 teams remaining games I favour Man U to finish far stronger and Chelsea to have a *deserved* nightmare end to this years Premiership - This is just a thought once again.
However, easily possible - oh and for the record, Liverpool will beat them in the FA cup semi too.

Lets See.

As a man utd fan, even i can say it wouldnt be a deserved nightmare for chelsea. They've got where they are in the league by winning matches so saying they deserve to lose isnt really fair

but still, i hope your right mate about us winning it, i really do :)

I think Chelsea will get 12 points from their last 7 games whilst we will get 13 points.

We still have to play Bolton, Chelsea and Spurs away and Arsenal at home.
Tough games.

I cant see Chelsea dropping the points they would need to.

Lets not forget United still have to play Chelsea at the bridge yet. So potentially that could cut the gap to 6 points.

However, United have still got Arsenal, which will be very tough, and Bolton, who going on past results could give us a very hard time.

SHould be a formality for Chelsea, but, you never know, and heres hoping!

Chelsea WONT drop enough points for us to win it

Us making them sweat about it is the pleasing thing

The 3 away games are the ones where we will lose points, we should take
the maximum from the games at home

wont happen, but its nice to push them all the way, you will need to beat them to even push them though.I reckon mourinho terry lampard makelele duff swp cole, ferguson rooney nistelrooy and ferdinand all get struck by lightning and drop enough points for liverpool to win it! :D

As much as I'd like it to happen, I don't think it will but we'll give them one hell of a scare. I think they'll take it by 2 or 3 points. Next year however, I can see us taking 'our' trophy back. Had we not had the injury crisis at the season's start I think we'd be right up there at the moment and unlike last year, our goalscoring is back to the usual standards.

Well Duff, SWP and Cole look like they get struck by lightning nearly every game the way they go down! (or is it the Stamford Bridge Sniper? )

They learnt their leason and stopped it

Ronaldo has to be battered before he goes down nowadays

Where as your lot...........well you cant even begin to defend them JG ;)

no chance of winning it this season really, next season promises to be a bit more of a challenge which i'm sure chelsea liverpool and arsenal fans are looking forward to as well.

What i'd really like from ourselves is to do the double over chelsea and finish the season strongly I think it would provide a good boost for ourselves going into next season.

No, I haven't forgot. When Ronaldo first came here, he did go down way to easily but Fergie and the senior players got hold of him and told him cut it out. As G|mp said, he gets knocked about something rotten these days and the ref's continually wave away legitimate fouls. He should have had a pen last night but Poll ignored it. I've no doubt had that been someone like Giggs he would have given it.

Birmingham v Chelsea
Chelsea v West Ham
Bolton v Chelsea
Chelsea v Everton
Chelsea v Man Utd
Blackburn v Chelsea
Newcastle v Chelsea

I just don't see where chelsea will drop 9 points, surely man utd would need them to lose at least one of the games before they played them to really apply the pressure.

Bolton v Man Utd
Man Utd v Arsenal
Man Utd v Sunderland
Tottenham v Man Utd
Man Utd v Middlesbrough
Chelsea v Man Utd
Man Utd v Charlton

All utds games look far tougher leading up to the chelsea game and ou'll need to win them all.
