My last 2 boyfriends fell into this category, both lived with their parents when i met them, great guys (mid-late 20's).. but when they moved in with me, didn't take me long to realise they had NO CLUE and expected me to clean up after them/cook for them etc, just like their mum had, while they played pc/ps3 games !!!! Anyway, i've learnt my lesson, don't date guys who still live at home ......

Sorry to inform you but you have got it all wrong. Women are supposed to do the cleaning and cooking ect. When are the women of today going to realise this?

;) sorry could not find the 'i'll get me coat' emoticon ;)

Well, if i could find a guy who earns more than me and could support me in my 'cooking and cleaning' role... :D lol

my favourite cleaning activity has got to be, knocking down the castle of beer cans which has built up during the week and being told 'hey, i was saving those' and the worse :( being told, 'i've just clipped my toenails, bet you can't find where i hid them'

I'm sorry, but where the hell do you find these people? :p

hmm. i'll probably die single to POF quick

Bad idea. It has a lot of losers on there (just like me). I believe the answer lies in one of those sugar daddy dating sites where the guys are older and have lucrative careers :D
Just don't expect them to be young and good looking.

Being serious now but I think you should just concentrate on being happy and enjoying yourself for the time being. Just don't try too hard looking for that person. Enjoy life for the moment and eventually you will meet someone you can enjoy life with. Either that or go and date girls. If I was you i'd go with the second option.

I'm 22 and live at home with my parents (well, mum and step-dad).

I hate living at home; it drives me nuts! Mostly because I have a Harry Potter sized room and due to my step-dad doing a rubbish job in building it I have mould growing in my room \o/

The only reason I haven't moved out is that I've made some bad money decisions which has left me with a bit of debt which will take about 2 years to pay off so as soon as that's paid off I'm going and hopefully by then I'll be on a decent wage to afford a decent mortgage.

Just to put another perspective on this. I have just moved from my parents place at 26. I got a job and stayed at home after uni and saved my money while all my friends were going "lolz u livz wiv parents". The same friends are now saying I'm "lucky" to be able to put down a good deposit on a good house and hence have a mortgage rate that's less than their rent. Luck has nothing to do with it, I still went out, contributed to the household upkeep etc. but because I lived at home and saved up I've put myself in a position that none of my friends can afford to be in until their mid 30s. Who's going "lolz" now?
