OP I feel for you, it must be tiring living with your mother but if its what you both want then sometimes you are going to have disagreements, try communicating with each other to find the source of the disagreement and figure out a compromise.

Everyone else jumping down the OP's throat... its a bit off, clearly he is in this position and doesn't really need all the stick, he may have difficulties irl for all we know.

There seems to be an alarming number of people living with their parents well into their twenties these days, and as a result basically not 'growing up' and learning to do things for themselves.

And plenty of them are unemployed since they don't 'need' to work, so they don't bother. And just sit at home playing xbox.

Sadly at least half of my friends fall into this category. As a result they have a very narrow/unrealistic perspective on life. Very sad. :(

My last 2 boyfriends fell into this category, both lived with their parents when i met them, great guys (mid-late 20's).. but when they moved in with me, didn't take me long to realise they had NO CLUE and expected me to clean up after them/cook for them etc, just like their mum had, while they played pc/ps3 games !!!! Anyway, i've learnt my lesson, don't date guys who still live at home ......

I agree to some extent, but there can be many reasons why someone in their 20's are still living at home and unemployed.
