To not know a Falcon Punch is quite a sad time indeed :( Surely someone gave you a Nintendo at some point!

Just as sad as knowing what it is. :p

I don't know how old you were but Nintendo was the in thing when I was growing up in the 80s and 90s. IT was played by everyone and enjoyed thoroughly in masses, everyone playing in the same room, no internet.....

This was another time, though, and will be missed :(

Certainly not sad knowing what it is. sad that anyone not knowing has missed out on something epic though!

Just to put another perspective on this. I have just moved from my parents place at 26. I got a job and stayed at home after uni and saved my money while all my friends were going "lolz u livz wiv parents". The same friends are now saying I'm "lucky" to be able to put down a good deposit on a good house and hence have a mortgage rate that's less than their rent. Luck has nothing to do with it, I still went out, contributed to the household upkeep etc. but because I lived at home and saved up I've put myself in a position that none of my friends can afford to be in until their mid 30s. Who's going "lolz" now?

Exactly same here but i moved out at 24. The key though is that I did, and you probably did, own more than one pair of trousers and didn't whinge on the internet when your mum didn't do everything you wanted.

Good on you !! It's a shame more don't use 'living with parents' for the saving opportunity it offers.

You are very sensible. This is the best thing to do in my opinion. a lot of people our age can't see it though.
By the way I am 26 and still live at home. I pay my way all the way and even help out my parents if they are stuck. The good thing is our mortgage is now paid and The house has been left to me in the will. Thing is it does not even bother me if I get the house or not, I just don't want to lose my parents :( However it's going to happen one day.
So yeah I am 26 and still at home, but I could not give a toss to be honest. I don't take the mick and always help out.
I don't care what anybody thinks.

As long as you are using the opportunity afforded by staying at home ie saving large chunks of change then there is nothing wrong with living at home with your folks.

My brother moved out at about 20 for 9 months came back having been happy with the space afforded by having his own flat but unable to keep paying the rent. He's been back for 18 months and is well on the way to saving to buy a place.

Yeah that I am :)
I am not on an amazing wage but I can save a lot more than most people I know.
The amount of people I know that are younger than me and have moved out only to find it's a lot tougher than they thought and moaning that they are always broke. I prefer to stay at home and save hard :) plus I dont intend on getting married and having kids so thats more money in the pocket.

Being serious now but I think you should just concentrate on being happy and enjoying yourself for the time being. Just don't try too hard looking for that person. Enjoy life for the moment and eventually you will meet someone you can enjoy life with.

Love how when a girl hits a thread it gets all serious. It's like xbox live :p

Thanks for trying to enlighten me, but I searched and found it was from a cartoon.

Some are suggesting a Nintendo game and I have played lots of Nintendo games but never come across a Falcon punch.

Read this that made me chuckle, 'Expect arm to catch fire in the shape of a bird if done correctly'.

I wrote a letter to someone who might be able to help, his reply is below:
