I have an i3 6100, 470, 16GB DDR4 RAM and on high settings my CPU usage is maxed and I'm getting a lot of FPS dips

Will I get better performance if I buy a 6600k and leave it at stock? Won't be able to overclock it straight away

Going from a dual core CPU to quad core will always help in any game released in the past 5 years.

An i3 CPU isnt even part of their minimum requirements, never mind recommend.

The minimum spec:
OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350.
Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K.
Memory: 8GB RAM.
Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB.
Graphics card (Nvidia): Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB.
DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent.

lol BS then because an i3 6100 destroys an 6350.

You have an Z170 board?

Prove it.

If he has Z170 he can overclock.

What with a slide? no one benchmarks the real world performance of CPU's, such as online gaming.

Its just experience and common sense, that knowledge one has beyond reading slides.

A few % BLK overclock isn't going to help that i3 either, he needs to drop an i5 in it.

No proof then.

Yes, you telling me the most expensive i5 is he minimum CPU required? don't be so gullible.

Well its obvious, the OP is saying their i3 isn't performing in a game which does not meet the games minimum requirements. What other proof do you need?

This is Battlefield 1 we are talking about not no 2D indi title from 3 years ago.

This is Battlefield we are taking about not no 2D indi title.

Plenty of people playing fine with an i3 and 3000mhz mems.
