i34 attendance thread

Not 100% sure yet.

Depends on a couple of mates. Had a great weekend just gone at i33. Our third multiplay event. Great laugh.

i33 was abismal tbh (the weather, the ventilation, the kids who shouldnt/cant handle their drink). The new venue for i34 looks perfect, however since my current employment is up in the air the jurys out on my attendence, would be nice though

Oh, and its closer, £60 in petrol i33 cost me give or take

Never been myself, hoping to make i34 my first. What's this about drunken louts?! Bah only liquid that should be on sale is energy drinks at a LAN party. We'll see if I get round to finishing my booking then :D

oooh, a lot closer, a lot bigger, a lot more things to do, a lot more places to sleep...

Think i may have to go to this one...

Jolt probably does more damage than alcohol, my stomach was wrenching after a few cans of that stuff

as for drunken louts, mostly under 18s thinking they are cool for getting served or smuggling in booze from sainsburys down the road, and then passing out in a pool of their own vomit in an elevator (well one did anyway)

few were stumbling, knocking over PCs in the process, vomiting on computers etc

Once you know about the right areas to be sat in etc you dont get all these problems of drunken kids etc, will be at i34.

We was all in the COD section this year which I have to say was very well behaved and met some great people there.

It seemed that most of the problems were from the CS:S section, reading on the forums about people being not be able to handle their drink e.t.c. I have to say that our first lan, i28 we sat in the Counter Strike Section, although had a good time we vowed never to sit in the section again.

My friends and I sat in the "other games" section, which for us was between the TF2ers and the MMOGers. Other than the stench from the WoWers who hadn't left their desk all weekend, and one drunk guy behind me that swore a lot and was removed shortly after, we had a great time :D Played in a couple of tournies, got stuffed by wotr in TF2 49-0, played several games of werewolves in the evening and we were the ones that launched the armada of paper areoplanes at the pub quiz :D

yeh if i go again ill try and drag my clan away from the CSS section, or group up with enough sensible clan to acquire our own little section of i34 thus making things easier to keep clean, and hopefully, a little quieter, some css clans should really calm the hell down

there are sensible css clans, we met and played a few, great experience, however some clans were either really loud, really drunk, or really immature, or a combination, those CSS clans annoy me and are the clans that give the CSS section such a bashing every LAN

think they were lumped in with the mmoers at i33, but there were a few servers going for tf2, wont be as big as cod4/css, but itll be there

There was a lot of tf2 in the mmo/tf2 section, my tf2 clan was part of the mmo area aswell. I dont think i got to play yegg in the end though i doubt he'd want a repeat of the wotr game :(

There was about 16 teams entered to the tf2 tourny and more just playing for the fun of it during the event. For i34 i may have a team thats actually played tf2 within the last 3 months ;)
