I7 2600k over clocked using asrock fatality m/b

i actually have 2 vertex3 drives and one agility3 drive sitting on my desk. one vertex im returning to amazon and im deciding which one to install or sell im thinking installing the vertex and selling the agility drive on ebay. i read there is only a small diff between the 2

ok tell me if this is wrong but i did the following and its now holding at 4500
i enabled intel speedstep technology

then changed from auto to manual on the turbo boost power limit
defaults were short limit 118 --> change to 170
long limit 95 ---> change to 130

i just got this info of another site where someone had similar issue.

would this cause any damager / damage to cpu / mb ?

ok have gone upto 4700 and all look ok
in bios changed multiplier to 47
enabled intel speedstep (this fixed the issue of clock speed dropping when under stress test.
tweaked short power limit to 180
long power limit to 140
and cpu core voltage - offset mode -0.015v

currently running stress test
all look ok and speed holding and cpu-z reports core voltage@ 1.336v @ temp is around 60/61c

is this still well within safe limits or am i bordering on the edge now?

dude that is a great set of results lets hope it does 4 hours of prime :)

ok i just changed multiplier to 48 however wouldnt boot into windows just kept reseting and cycling in a loop so i went into bios and change to -0.010v but had the same problem in end just put backto multiplier of 47 and 0.015v and booted ok.
anyone suggest what issue is?

try +0.005 what volts does that give?

you have to rememebr the if a 4.6 oc is 1.30v and a 4.7 oc is 1.32 a 4.8 oc will not be 1.34 it could need more than 1.36 to be stable, volts dont go up in incremants like an oc
