What CPU speed / uncore?

No idea if this is any good or not, don't use Geek Bench.

Depends how conditional the overclock is. If riding the edge, it can help with memory stability. HCI is quite good at stressing the cache / memory hierarchy.

Your mem score is 1000 higher than mine. 1T can't make taht much of a diff? I need to see what's going on.

5ghz core and 43x on cache.

Our core score is similar but mem is way off considering your main diff is 1T.

Of course it can. You're losing a cycle per command. Everyone dialing in for 24/7 should ideally tune for 1T. Although that was 3700MHZ CAS 16 1T.

Here's 3500 CAS 15 1T. Uncore is at 45, so this will have an impact aswell.

Got my 9900K in my machine yesterday. Replaces a OcUK pre-binned [email protected]. Plopped in the 9900K, didn't change any settings and it booted straight up. I'm using a H100i v2 with a pair of ML120 Pro fans, and no problems cooling - in fact the 9900K runs cooler than the 8086K ever did.

Specs in signature, but I have to say the Z370 Gaming 7 is a pure beast of a board, and as a purely Asus user for decades that's a good recommendation.

Are these temps ok for what’s in my system? I have a triple and double rad cooling my 9900k at 5-5.1ghz(still playing ) and my 1080ti in the loop. In gaming I’m seeing between 50-60c and 30 mins of realbench early 90s?

Never mind, I must have had an air bubble stuck somewhere I’m now 5.1ghz and 5.ghz AVX 1.3v and a max temp of 85c

Got my Asus Maximus XI Apex today. The motherboard is great and VRMs run cooler than my MSI MEG ACE Z390. Tested Realbench for 1 Hour 5.0GHz at 1.119v under load (LLC7). I also upgraded to a Corsair H150i Pro. Temps are very similar to my previous AIO (Kraken X62) but it runs quieter.

Seeing as i have the worst chip ever, i've had to set the tjmax at 90c to stop it burning out in prime95. Now it throttles back from 5ghz to 4.3ghz and sits at 90c fml

and at 5ghz it likes at least 1.45 vcore :'(

Very happy with the XI Extreme, but being a 4 Dimm slot board it doesn't overclock memory very well when using 2 sticks of ram like I use. The XI Apex only has 2 slots.
My IX Apex is a monster for memory overclocking.
Ah okay. You had me worried for a minute as I've recently ordered the extreme myself.
