This is interesting.

Unlike most electrical insulators, diamond is a good conductor of heat because of the strong covalent bonding and low phonon scattering. Thermal conductivity of natural diamond was measured to be about 22 W/(cm·K), which is five times more than copper. Monocrystalline synthetic diamond enriched in the isotope 12C (99.9%) has the highest thermal conductivity of any known solid at room temperature: 33.2 W/(cm·K).[35][36] Because diamond has such high thermal conductance it is already used in semiconductor manufacture to prevent silicon and other semiconducting materials from overheating. At lower temperatures conductivity becomes even better, and reaches 410 W/(cm·K) at 104 K (12C-enriched diamond).

I would love to try some IC diamond however i have never changed thermal paste before and am unsure how i clean whats on their currently? If anyone could explain to me please before i send a trust would be appreciated :)

I've been using IC for what seems like 6-7yrs now.

I've built all my recent home workstations (4) with it and have managed to use it at work in our high performance specialist systems (about 15).

I noticed around 3 degree drop in temp over Arctic Silver when first used, and i've never looked back since.

Sadly, i'm not going to take apart my system, as it is running perfectly well (and i'm already using IC Diamond on it!).
 
Sent you a message over Trust - will do a nice comparison with CPU temperatures and also will use it for my up coming watercooling... :)
