Identify this bird?

Looks too small for a Jay - they are larger and have a more distinct colouring. This has a yellow beak as well.

Fieldfares are blackbird sized, but its hard to tell. But fieldfare do have grey heads. But they are more commonly found in large groups. Have you seen any others nearby?

Looks similar to a fieldfare i admit
No only this one on its own,eating last years cooking apple leftovers.Usually it is Blackbirds in this garden eating the apples

In before anyone else says 'queen wasp bird/dad kills said bird for a living' :p

It's a robin really. Had a Robin stowaway in my 7.5 tonner on Tuesday.
