If you've seen my other posts, you would see that i'm sort of on the fence. I'd need more details tbh. Definitely think she should be prosecuted if back in this country.

Regarding limp wrists, compassion isn't a weakness, its a strength. Its easy to froth at the mouth, anyone can do that.

One could reasonably ask what "lifting a finger" would mean. Military raid on the area where she is to extract her. Dangerous enough when the target is trained and in contact with you, let alone a civilian who you have no direct line of contact with and who for all you know wants to see you dead as an infidel. Buying her freedom by paying people there to deliver her? Great - now kidnappings and ransoms have just gone through the roof AND you're funding ISIS. Diplomatic pressure? On a non-state group you're at war with? Prisoner exchange - now you're releasing any combatants and murders to carry on their work!

Before condemning our government for not doing anything, we should ask what it is we think they should do.
 
I'm not condemning them. They are doing to much I think, she should have her passport cancelled and be stateless but the UN won't allow that.

They would move in if it was a loyal British citizen trapped there. But these women...**** em.

Don't think six years is enough tbh. For all we know she might be out and radicalise others and boast of being free after 6 years despite her involvment. That will just become an encouragement for others.
 
She will come back, get a slapped hand from the justice system, maybe a couple of years in jail at worst....

Then sell her story, do interviews.. make a fortune. Happy days.

Apologies, I didn't mean that as you suggesting it but just that 6 years being not enough for criminals like these. There should be a special court that serves out punishments that are deterrent enough, if not death sentences.

She isn't stateless she is now a national of the Islamic State, she can look to them for help..........ohh wait....

I think people forget that the three girls were 15yrs old. Still considered as children. They were more likely brainwashed.
The girl who wishes to return has lost two children. That is tragic.
She is a British citizen so should be allowed back home, however, there is a case for treason.

Rubbish, considered here as children when aged 15 but not actually children at all.
Regardless of what happened before we have to take note that she shows no remorse, does not regret doing it and does not find bins of decapitated heads offensive in the slightest
