If you could choose any film to re-watch in a cinema...

I saw a lot of the films mentioned in the cinema.

Aliens, T2, Predator, Heat, Jurassic Park and they were all good cinematic experiences.

Two films mentioned are good calls.

Star Wars: a new hope which I did see in the cinema but I was 5 so I was not equipped to get everything out of it. The other is 2001. In terms of a sheer experience that would be great.

Say what you want about the film but the sound and visuals are great.

The Good the Bad and the Ugly, or any of the trology.
North By Northwest, I'm thinking the crop duster scenes, the redwood forest and the monument scenes, would look awesome on a big screen.
The Longest Day, just cos war films always seem more epic on a big screen.

I came here to post Terminator 2.

I've been lucky enough in the last year to have seen Jurassic Park, Back to the Future and Labyrinth again on the big screen, and they've all been amazing.

Labyrinth would be awesome to see again, just to show our lass. She hasnt lived!

Star Wars saga, and Shooter. Love that film! Oh and the rocky sagas

If you are going to do Aliens, you should do it properly, and have Alien, followed immediately by Aliens (at most with a 'refreshment break' between them, but ideally not)

Dune.. hmmm perhaps...

But my choice, Das Boot (full version)

Recently I watched 127hrs in my home cinema room with a 92" screen and 5.1 sound but I did wish I'd seen it in the cinema, well a good cinema anyway.

Films I haven't seen at cinema and would love to see:

2001: A Space Odyssey
Matrix
Casino
Terminator2

Films I have seen at cinema and would love to see again:

Lord Of The Rings all of them.
Harry Potter all of them.
Avatar (Imax)
Saving Private Ryan.

I seen Jurassic Park in cinema when I was a kid (5/6 yrs old) but I'd love to see it again :)

Other things would be The Searchers, Unforgiven, Bullitt and probably one of my favourite asian horrors like A Tale of Two Sisters would be on the top of my list.

I'm seeing Predator there in July. I've not been before but always keep an eye on their website/FB pages.

You can request films too - I put in a request for T2 and Predator about two months ago and it's now on the billing. (I tell myself it's my doing but most likely isn't :p ).

They did BTTF not long ago. Unlucky.

Not here they didn't! Our only cinema is a joke - last film I watched at the cinema locally was Quantum of Solace and 1/8 of the picture was missing off each side of the screen, sound was awful as well, so if they did show BTTF there I wouldn't have gone anyway :(

I feel quite lucky, as the Manchester Odeon does screenings of old films once a week or so. Over the next couple of months, there's ones like Platoon, Sin City, Scarface, Terminator 2 and Trainspotting....all ones I'd consider seeing (primarily Terminator though!)
