If you found £200...

I'd hand it in. Think I'd feel very guilty keeping that much....hell, I found a tenner the other day and felt pretty guilty holding on to that.
 
In an envelope type thing, keep it, depending on the amount, if £200, keep.

If a wallet, hand it in. Depends on the amount.
 
if there was a way to hand it back to the person who dropped it I would, other than that just spend it.

don't think it would matter how much money was involved, up to a limit where its prolly drugs money :)
 
If i found it in a plain envelope by itslef, i'd probably keep it. There wouldn't be any way for the police to know who/where it was from if you were to hand it in if it didn't come with any id/documentation so it would be a bit pointless surely?
 
Generally, I would hand it in, but what exactly can the police do?

If its unmarked and is just a blank envelope with cash, someone is going to have a hard time trying to prove that it's theirs. I agree with Burned_Alive though, would feel really guilty if it was someone's wages :(
 
Well, i found it sat on top of the ATM shelf thing with no one around.. if i give it in to police dont i get to keep it if no one comes forward within a set amount of time anyway?
