Was just looking for a bottle to toast my new daughter, may have to give this a go. Was looking for a Japanese one to try as well. Are the tasting notes accurate Mark? I normally am not a huge fan of Glenmorangie but if it's a bit difference I will be tempted.

Give this a go stand on me its a surprise, in a good way.

And congrats on the girl, thats what lifes about.

Yes but listen, you can spend 20 quid on a bottle of rubbish or you can savour a nice bottle of this, 1 ice cube, no more and thats you, sit back, type some rubbish on here, ignore the wife, sorted :)

For the record, purists will tell you that you shouldn't drink whisky with ice regardless of if it's only one cube or 4. Ice affects the taste and removes a lot of the fragrance as well. Been to so many distilleries now and they always reinforce that point but at the end of the day if that's how you enjoy it fair enough :)

It should be a drop of water only to release the full flavours and aromas.

I thought you gave up booze for a few weeks? :p

Yea i did till today, but me and me brother couldnt resist a trip up to Milroys :D

Anyway the ice, yes my brother says its a big no no, but i do love 1 cube.

We also got a 25 year old Glen Ord and one of Milroys own bottled, very nice for the money those too.

I have to agree, single malts are so much nicer that they're worth it, even if it means you drink less, because they're much, much more enjoyable.

We had a result tonight, her and a dozen mates are having Ann Summers so we will lock ourselfs away up here in me study :)

Not too bad, but depends how carried away they get during the party. :p
